Seaton Carew-based Ella Crang won the Durham County Ladies’ Golf Association Championship for the second time at Brancepeth Castle Golf Club, as she beat Kayla Hall in the event’s final.
Ella, who won the event for the first time in 2022, lifted the trophy following a 3&2 win in the delayed final.
Meanwhile, Alice Atkinson (Durham City) and Millie Hixon (Wearside) reached the semi-finals, Millie was the leading player in the 36-hole strokeplay qualifying, and the best nett qualifier prize went to Sorcha Bond (Eaglescliffe).
