Durham City’s men’s team won the North Durham Union of Golf Clubs league after topping division one.
The Durham City team led the way in the top division with 124 points in their 14 matches – beating Seaham by just two points as Hobson’s team finished third.
In division two, Boldon’s team led the way as Chester-le-Street finished second. In division three, South Shields topped the standings with Ravensworth in second place.

The Durham City team will go on to represent the North Durham Union of Golf Clubs league in the Dixon Cup at Ponteland on Sunday September 13. The event brings together the winning teams from the five North East men’s leagues, with the best six scores from seven players counting towards each team’s total.
