Three juniors lifted Durham county championship titles as the under-14, under-16 and under-18 championships took place at Consett & District Golf Club.
Consett-based Luke Bonser led the way in the under-18 championship with rounds of 76 and 68 for a two over-par total and a five-shot victory over Bishop Auckland’s Callum Brown as Eaglescliffe’s Harry Caygill finished a shot further back in third place.
In the under-16 flight, Durham City’s William Megginson lifted the trophy with a three over-par round of 74 as Hobson’s Roan Smith finished second on six over-par.
Meanwhile, Wearside’s Oscar Hancill won the under-14 title, beating Rockliffe’s Ollie Porteous on countback as both players shot six over-par rounds of 77.
