Bedale Golf Club is celebrating double success in Harrogate & District Union of Golf Clubs events – with its men’s teams winning both the second and third division titles.
In the second division championship at Ilkley on May 17, the team of Jamie Nelson, Graham Seel, Ric Noble and Peter JC Hoyle led the field by five shots with a combined score of 343.
In the third division championship at Rudding Park on May 3, the team of Keith Rollins, Jim Kelly, Michael Barker and Richard Woods combined for a score of 118 stableford points and the victory.
The Harrogate union’s first division championship will take place at Otley on August 23.
