Cumbria’s girls’ team topped the leaderboard in the 2026 Northern Counties Junior Jamboree at Scarcroft Golf Club.
The event sees the players play a stableford round and matchplay games to earn points for their team over two days.
On day one, Beth Brittain led the field with 44 stableford points. With players paired for matchplay on day two, Cumbria lifted the trophy with a total of 63 points as Durham’s girls finished second with 53 points. Lancashire also secured 53 points as Northumberland finished with 49 points, Yorkshire scored 46 points, and Cheshire scored 45 points.
