Consett & District Golf Club topped the leaderboard in the Durham County Golf Union’s Club Teams Handicap event at Heworth.
The team of Barry Cranston, Darren Westlake, David Sawyers and Steve Straw led the field in the event – which sees three of the four players contribute their nett score to the team total – with a six over-par score of 219.
Darlington Golf Club’s team finished two shots back in second place, while Barnard Castle Golf Club secured third place on 12 over-par.
Meanwhile, Lee Medhurst from Seaham Golf Club led the individual scoring with a nett 69 (two under-par).
