Colin Montgomerie will return to Ilkley Golf Club to host the seventh edition of The Yorkshire Invitational on September 16-17, 2026.
Colin – who has 31 European Tour victories, eight European Tour Order of Merit titles and played in eight Ryder Cups, captaining Europe to victory in 2010 – spent much of his childhood at Ilkley.
After the success of last year’s inaugural celeb-am, the event will once again give golfers the opportunity to tee it up alongside sporting legends. The first day consists of a morning pro-am and the afternoon celeb-am. On day two, there’s another pro-am which will see one professional crowned the Yorkshire Invitational champion. In 2025, Rob Harris topped the leaderboard and received the trophy from host Mark James.
