Carl Thompson successfully defended the North Yorkshire & South Durham Championship trophy at Cleveland Golf Club.
Close House-based Carl led the field in the Teesside & District Golf Union event, which is part of the Yorkshire Order of Merit, with rounds of 72 and 68 giving him a four under-par total and victory over Allister Williams on countback.
