Callum Moncur and Deonne Pyatt got their seasons off to winning starts as they led the boys’ and girls’ fields respectively in the first PING Trophy at Dunstanburgh Castle.
Darlington-based Callum led the boys’ field in the PING Junior Golf Tour scratch event with back-to-back rounds of 71 on the Northumberland coast, as Jack Gant finished four shots back in second place.
Meanwhile, Hickleton-based Deonne topped the girls’ leaderboard – with rounds of 80 and 82 giving her a one-shot win over Ava Allenby.
