Callaway introduces Apex Pro series

Callaway has unveiled its new Apex Pro Series – its most advanced Tour-endorsed line ever.

Callaway’s R&D team worked a host of the brand’s staff professionals, including Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele, for three years to create the new line – which features new iron (RRP £217 each) and utility club (RRP £259 each) designs.

From loft packages to sole geometries and shapes, the Apex Pro Series irons can be combined in any fashion with other Pro Series models to meet a player’s specific needs. All Pro Series Irons also feature the same back weight to give fitters control over swing weight.

The Apex Pro design features a hollow body construction, pairing a forged face with a forged 1025 carbon steel body, featuring Callaway’s patented Urethane Microspheres, to deliver a premium, ultra-soft feel. An all-new progressive face is designed for exceptional distance with tour-level precision, and a new Dynamic Sole Design promotes improved turf interaction and better contact.

The Apex CB irons are designed for the most discerning tour pros and elite ball-strikers. This tour-cavity back is forged in a five-step process from 1025 carbon steel, creating a buttery-soft feel. The body and face are forged as one piece while MIM (metal injected moulded) weights placed strategically in the toe create a perfectly balanced design for enhanced workability, control and shot-making. The Dynamic Sole Design ensures speed through the turf and consistent contact.

Apex MB has been developed for the best in the game who are looking for a high level of performance in a modern Tour blade. The one-piece 1025 carbon forging creates the purest feel while Callaway’s Dynamic Sole Design provides more efficient turf interaction and enhanced workability.

Meanwhile, the Apex UT and UW models are designed to provide better players with powerful, yet versatile, options off the tee.
