Callaway has announced several additions to its Jaws Raw wedge range – including a new Full Toe shape alongside new grind options and left-handed wedges now available in the Raw Black Plasma finish.
The new Full Toe shape provides more face area with an enhanced, but refined, toe peak. The shaping works with the specialised J Grind to make short shots around the green easy to hit, especially bunker shots and high flops. The wedges are also built to perform on mid and full shots too, with a pre-worn leading edge for better turf interaction.
A new C Grind with a crescent-shaped sole has also been developed for skilled players who are looking to manufacture shots around the greens. As well, the X grind now extends to 56° and 54°, and the Z grind goes up to 62°. In total, the range now features 28 loft and bounce combinations per finish and shape.
Finally, the Jaws Raw Black Plasma wedges now extend into left-handed options. Available in a full family from 52°, 56° and 60° in the S grind, and spanning each grind – S, Z, W and X – in the 60°.
Developed by legendary club designer Roger Cleveland, the range combines artistry and craftsmanship with cutting edge innovation.
Jaws Raw wedges feature the most aggressive grooves in golf, with a raw face that promotes maximum spin. For the first time ever, Callaway has also brought tungsten technology to a wedge for a weight balanced club that offers both feel and control.
