Callaway has kicked off the 2023 equipment releases with the launch of the Paradym family of woods and irons – available for pre-sale on January 20 and at retailers from February 24.
The family is led by a new suite of drivers (RRP £599) featuring an industry-first 360 Carbon Chassis, which eliminates titanium from the body and allows engineers to push weight and stability to the limit. The drivers feature a Triaxial Carbon crown and Forged Carbon sole which are 44% lighter than titanium components. This weight saving is then repositioned forward to enhance ball speed and toward the back of the clubhead to increase forgiveness.
To further increase ball speeds, an enhanced AI-designed Jailbreak system boosts stability, while a new AI-optimised face enhances speed, launch, spin and downrange dispersion. Paradym is also the first driver to utilise Callaway’s Face Cup technology, which is paired with a forged titanium face to provide higher energy transfer than a standard driver face insert.
Three driver models are available – Paradym, which is suited to a wide range of players; Paradym X for players who want additional forgiveness and a slight draw bias; and Paradym Triple Diamond for better players who want to work the ball.
The family also includes Paradym fairway woods (RRP £379) – a completely new construction which removes weight from the body and repositions it to increase ball speed and moment of inertia. The AI-designed Jailbreak Batwing Structure is pushed to the perimeter to stiffen the body, while allowing the face to flex for high ball speeds. Every model – Paradym, Paradym X and Paradym Triple Diamond – is designed with a specific player in mind to fully maximise performance.
There are also new hybrids (RRP £299) featuring Callaway’s AI-designed Jailbreak with Batwing Technology, Tungsten Speed Cartridges and an AI-designed 455 Face Cup.
Finally, the Paradym irons (RRP £1,199) have also been designed using Callaway’s AI face technology and feature Paradym Shift Construction – a high-strength Forged 455 Face Cup in an all-new Hollow Body design featuring Speed Frame and Urethane Microsphere technology which is optimised throughout the set for more speed, higher launch and increased spin consistency.
