Callaway has announced its new Elyte family of golf clubs – including drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons.
The Elyte drivers – available in standard (£569), X (£569) and Triple Diamond (£599) models – are up to eight yards longer than the previous Paradym Ai Smoke Max driver.
This performance is led by a new shape which has been developed through new prototype capabilities to provide enhanced aerodynamics for greater speed throughout the entire golf swing. Meanwhile, a revolutionary aerospace-grade Thermoforged Carbon crown enables fast head speeds while promoting high launch and low spin.
Callaway’s most advanced face to date – the new Ai 10x Face – delivers 10 times more control points than the Paradym Ai Smoke model, optimising launch across the face.
Meanwhile, the Elyte fairway woods promote high launch, low spin and greater speed with 57% less turf interaction than the Paradym Ai Smoke fairways. Callaway’s Step Sole design and Tungsten Speed Wave combine with the Ai 10x face to deliver distance and forgiveness. The Tungsten Speed Wave has also been engineered to enhance speed for misses that are low on the face, and the Step Sole minimises skidding and drag. The Elyte fairway woods available in four models – standard (£349), X (£349), Triple Diamond (£359), and Elyte Ti (£TBC).
Elyte Hybrids provide up to 13 yards of shot shaping in Callaway’s most adjustable hybrid to-date. The hybrids feature interchangeable heel/toe weights and the new Ai 10x face. A new OptiFit 4 hosel system also provides unique loft and lie combinations in both the standard (£299) and X models (£299).
Completing the lineup, the Elyte irons promote greater ball speeds and forgiveness for every type of player. An optimised Speed Frame construction incorporates advanced design elements allowing for additional patented urethane microspheres to deliver improved sound and feel. This construction also produces faster ball speeds. With more precise Ai, the Ai 10x Face produces greater ball speeds as well as tighter dispersion and optimised launch across the face.
The tri-sole design features three distinct sections to ensure fast, smooth turf interaction. A sharper leading edge and trailing edge chamfer allow for efficient entry and exit, while the mid-section offers enhanced forgiveness for consistent results from a variety of lies. The Elyte irons are available in three models – standard, X, and HL (high launch) (all £167 per iron).
