Teams from across Yorkshire have earned their place in the final stage of this year’s Club Team Championship following the Second Division Championship at Bradford Golf Club.
Bradford’s Richard Wheatley (68-69), Harry Richmond (70-74) and Harry Philips (71-70) led the way with a four under-par total as Sand Moor’s Bailey Hird, Chris Howe and Mark Pullan finished second on one over-par.
Meanwhile, Richard led the individual scoring with his five under-par total as Teesside’s Dan Norman was second on four under-par.
The leading seven teams – Bradford, Sand Moor, Rudding Park, Hillsborough, Fulford, Harrogate and Skipton – will progress to the Yorkshire Team Championship at Selby on July 22, where they will join the 14 teams already qualified for the event from last season.
