Ben Ratcliffe led the field in the first PGA in Yorkshire order of merit event of the season – the Yorkshire Masters at York Golf Club.
Ben, who is based at Kilnwick Percy Golf Club, shot a four under-par round of 66 to top the leaderboard as Carlo Ciullo finished one shot back in second place and three players – Fraser Kelley, Reece Samson and Alex Belt – finished in a tie for third on two under-par.
Next up on the PGA in Yorkshire circuit is the Cottingham Parks pro am on May 22. The second order of merit event of the year – the PGA in Yorkshire Classic – will take place on June 1 at Rotherham.
