Nine-time major champion Ben Hogan famously described golf as a “game of misses” – and that concept has inspired the design of the latest irons from Ben Hogan Golf.
While the technology required to produce a standard game improvement iron often results in a bulky and unwieldy head shapes and size, the Hogan Legend Irons are compact and clean, with a streamlined look at address.
Presenting elegant geometries and thin toplines on the outside, the irons (RRP from £799.99) are packed with game-enhancing technologies – starting with hollow-bodied constructions which are filled with foam – allowing the designers to maximise stability and optimise launch conditions for each iron.
To further enhance playability from a variety of lies, the irons also feature Hogan’s trademark V-SOLE, which sports a high-bounce leading edge and soft, lower-bounce trailing edge.
Offered in 5-PW or 4-PW, with a wide choice of premium after-market shafts and grips, the Legend irons are hand-built to order enabling and can be customised with different shaft lengths, grip sizes and loft and lie angles.
