The junior team from Arcot Hall Golf Club will represent Northumberland in England Golf’s Junior Champion Club event having won the county’s Junior Teams Championship.
The Arcot Hall team – Myles Bowey-Tyler, Hugo Bowey-Tyler and Will Cairns – led the field of 15 teams with a score of 83 points in the best two from three stableford format. Myles led the individual scoring with 43 points while Hugo was second with 40 points.
The team will go on to represent Northumberland in the national finals at Woodhall Spa on August 11-12.
