Cleveland-based Archie Palmer topped the leaderboard in the Carnoustie Golf Links Junior Open, played on the Championship Course at the Open Championship venue.
Archie led the field in the 18-hole scratch event with a level-par round of 72, beating Oliver Gill
(Lanark) by three shots as four players – including Cian Lowry from Waterfront and Oscar Hancill from Wearside – finished a shot further back on four over-par.
