Alastair Forsyth led from wire-to-wire as he topped the leaderboard at this year’s North East & North West PGA Turkey Pro Am.
Alastair, who won the European Tour’s Carlsberg Malaysian Open in 2002 and the Madeira Islands Open in 2008 and is now based at Mearns Castle Golf Academy, led the field with a four-round score of 10 under-par. Mark Ridley, Thomas Rowland and Paul Fiddes finished in a tie for second place on eight under-par.
Alastair also led his team to victory with a 65 under-par total of 353 points.
The NE/NW PGA is set to return to Turkey in March 2026. Next up on the region’s pro am schedule is a visit to Scotland for rounds at Kilmarnock Barassie and Glasgow Gailes on April 14-15.
