The winter leagues have begun, jumpers have been unpacked and woolly hats donned for winter golf, which means the latest clothing from Ping and Adidas, designed to keep you warm and playing in the coming months, is very welcome. Ping has unveiled its latest clothing line for autumn/winter with technical performance at the core of its design. The Sensor apparel, featuring Sensor Dry, Sensor Cool and Sensor Warm, is designed to ensure every layer meets the demands of the game – from base layer to outwear – with lightweight, low-bulk layers featuring industry-leading fabrics and technology.

Cobra has unveiled a new version of its largest irons ever, the KING Oversized, promising the company’s biggest iron sweetspot. The new design is at the USGA’s COR (coefficient of restitution) limit – the maximum efficiency with which a golf club can transfer its momentum to the golf ball. All that means the new irons deliver greater speed and distance. Simple!

First showcased at The Open Championship, Adidas has released its clothing range for autumn/winter 2016, promising to keep players “geared for more”. The latest apparel line for men and women includes climaheat garments to stay warm, climacool shirts, and climaproof outer layers. The multi-layer system is showcased by US Open champion Dustin Johnson.

Cleveland’s latest putter designs – the Huntington Beach collection and mallet-style additions to the TFi 2135 line – has been unveiled. The four new mallets feature the TFi range’s unique alignment system which aims to make the process simple for all players, no matter their putting style. The new Huntington Beach range, named after the brand’s HQ, features three models – each with a 304 stainless steel milled face for soft feel and a consistent roll.
