The 2022 Mizuno Order of Merit winner, Tim Dykes, picked up the winner’s cheque in the North East & North West PGA’s Tom Flowers Memorial Pro Am at Ramside Hall.
Tim led the field with a four under-par round as Ken Ferrie led his team to victory with a total of 89 points. The event – which remembers former NE/NW PGA secretary, Ramside director of golf and Durham County stalwart Tom – also raised more than £2,500 for St Cuthbert’s Hospice.
Meanwhile, three professionals – James Wilson, Vince Guest and NE/NW PGA captain George Cowan – shared top spot at Linden Hall in the 31st Water Aid Pro Am. The trio posted three under-par scores to lead the pack as Water Networks North – led by professional Craig Smith – won the team prize with a total of 90 points.
