The Scoring Club hosted its first charity golf day in aid of The Alan Shearer Foundation at Gosforth Golf Club, raising £4,760.50.
Organised by The Scoring Club – a new organisation offering tournaments, golf days and content for golfers – the event saw more than 70 players take part.
The Scoring Club will host its second event, a pairs betterball tournament, at Linden Hall on September 15. Teams are priced at £78 for two players and the winners will earn a three-night holiday for two people to Macdonald Dona Lola, Spain.
