Kevin Pattison and Andrew Blunt have teamed up to launch Electric Golf Trolleys North East.
The new business, based at Unit 3 Derwenthaugh Industrial Estate, Swalwell offers repairs and servicing for electric golf trolleys. It also stocks PowaKaddy, Motocaddy and Golfstream trolleys along with a full range of batteries, accessories, grips, balls and gloves.
Kevin, who has worked in golf retail in the region for 26 years, launched the new business with Andrew, PGA Professional at Seaham Golf Club, at the end of 2019 and has hit the ground running.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better start,” said Kevin. “It has been great to get back into golf retail after five years away. It has been lovely seeing so many familiar faces and I would like to thank PowaKaddy and Motocaddy for their ongoing support, and entrusting me to carry out their warranty work in our authorised service centre.
“Setting up the new business with Andrew has reinvigorated my passion for the game and golf retail. We’re looking forward to building our reputation and working with more golfers from across the region.”
As well as specialising in electric golf trolleys, Kevin has access to equipment from the major manufacturers through Andrew and his Bargain Golf Equipment brand.
