Whickham Golf Club kicked off the new season with the launch of its 2018 junior programme and the opening of its clubhouse refurbishments.
Junior organiser Chris Sutton presented his ambitious 2018 programme to parents and juniors and hosted a number of challenges for the juniors ahead of getting back on the course – with a free junior taster session taking place with EuroPro player James Simpson at the start of April. Meanwhile, the club has been busy improving its facilities with the new look bar now open.
